This recorded product demonstration shows use of Space-Time Field Service Composite to geospatially view on an interactive 3D satellite image the topography of an outage area, distribution lines, distribution circuits, transformers, and field service personnel on duty. The demonstration shows use of user-defined service order filters, location of field service personnel with the right qualifications and work status, and estimated drive times for each field service team. The user accesses details on failed assets, creates a new service work order, investigates inventory status, and initiates remedial action prompted by on-screen action scripts linked to workflow processes. The user conducts asset default analysis by manufacturer and by cause and reviews service interruption metrics. The user reviews outages caused by vegetation, looks at specific vegetation issues, and conducts a fire risk analysis, including risk analysis by tree type. This recorded product demonstration shows use of Space-Time Crisis Composite for preventive action and fast mitigation in evolving crisis situations. Crisis situations include natural (hurricane, wildfire, other fire, lightning strike, ice storm, flood, high wind, earthquake) and man-made events. The first part of the demo shows topography of a crisis area, visualization of assets in the path of a hurricane, proximity of fires to assets, real-time asset status details about assets in affected areas, and on-screen action scripts linked to preventive and remedial action workflows. The user launches full-context historical playback of the hurricane’s progress over assets in an area. Assets can be added to the view as layers on the 3D interactive satellite image. The user drills to detail about an affected asset and launches a remediation workflow process. Later in the demo, the user conducts root cause analysis about a troubled asset, searches using user-defined filters, and conducts a fire risk analysis as part of vegetation management operations.

A world renowned utility uses Space-Time Insight for phasor and corresponding asset monitoring. Space-Time Insight delivers a state-of-the-art early warning system – and situational awareness. Operators see system status geo-spatially – grid lines and assets overlaid on a satellite image of the terrain, with real-time phasor data and interactive displays of operating of assets in their correct locations, plus colors and symbols that present the technical data in an easily digestible and intuitive form. Clicking on an asset offers drill-down views of its attributes and current condition. Playback capability allows viewing of anything they may have missed. A visual overlay of weather conditions across the grid completes the picture.
