Senior Java/J2EE and Adobe Flex Developer

Location: Fremont, California

General Summary:

We are looking for a senior candidate that has close to 10 years experience with Java / J2EE, development and experience in Adobe Flex, BlazeDS, ActionScript and Spring. The individual will be responsible for programming our software products to implement new features and support current applications. Additional responsibilities include being part of a collaborative team that produces a quality product for our clients. This position offers great growth potential.

Experience / Knowledge in areas of Business Intelligence, Web services, Oracle, SAP, IBM technology stacks is a plus. Job requires some travel during customer deployments of the product.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Java/J2EE, Adobe Flex code (UI to Database level – MVC) coding using designated product technology architecture and frame works.
• Work with customers, both offsite and onsite for product deployments / customizations.
• Provide assistance as necessary to other developers and provide technical and functional training to the junior developers.
• Perform Research and Development on newest technical components and make recommendations such as report engine, UI frame work, security, open-source components and Open Standards/frame works.
• Work with India team from US and act as point of contact for one or more projects.

Requirements

• Should have close to 10 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying WEB/J2EE applications.
• The candidate must have Strong Coding Skills in Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Adobe Flex, BlazeDS, Action Script, Hibernate, Java Beans, EJB, XML, XSL, Webservices and PL/SQL Programming.
• Should have integration and deployment Skills using one of the - BEA Web logic, Apache TOMCAT, JBoss and Web Sphere.
• Should have capabilities to manage module or small team if required and should have experience in one or more complete life cycle modules.
• Should have working experience in multiple operating systems, Windows, Unix and Linux/Solaris
• Should have Database design and PL/SQL coding experience on Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and any other RDBMS
• Familiarity with Version control using CVS/VSS, and bug/issue reporting and tracking tools like Bugzilla, Per Force and etc.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and exposure to AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and Excellent verbal and written communication skills with Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, motivational, and facilitation skills
• Must have minimum of Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field

Senior Software Engineer

Job Duties

Gather and analyze user requirements, develop, test and implement software applications using Java, J2EE, Struts, Hibernate, JRules, KML, GIS libraries, SAP JCO, JAVA-OPC framework, and Eclipse RCP development. Ability to create visual interfaces and analytical dashboards using Adobe Flexbuilder, Xcelsius and RIA technologies. Perform problem analysis, solution determination, code design and development, integration, test, modification, documentation and provide software support to clients. Proficiency in Oracle Primavera, GUI Concepts, frameworks (Struts, Flex, Spring, RIA, GIS & KML library) required. Required travel to various client sites throughout the USA.

Job Requirement

Required U.S. Bachelors or its foreign equivalent in CS, CA, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, CIS, or related field plus + 5 years of experience in job offered or related work with same or similar job duties but given another designation. We will accept a combination of education towards a Bachelors or its equivalent as determined by a qualified evaluation service.

Software Engineer

Job Duties

Analyze, Design, Test, Implement programs for client software applications. Write program documentation describing the program development. Test and Debug systems once installed and oversee its complete implementation. Provide technical services to clients relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems.

Technical Lead

Job Duties

Leads a technical team through project development phases: analysis, development, implementation, deployment and production support. Work with QA to develop unit, functional, and system tests for the software. Prepares and utilizes project plans for significant IT development, enhancement and maintenance efforts.

Required Bachelors or foreign equivalent CS, CA, CIS, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), MIS, or any related field + 2 years of experience with the same or similar job duties but given another designation. Will accept a combination of degrees or diplomas.
