(Senior) Product Marketing Manager

Role

Space-Time Insight is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to enhance the positioning of our products in the market and arm our sales team and partners with compelling promotional material. Working closely with our customers, partners and product managers, the Product Marketing Manager’s responsibilities will include gathering and prioritizing market requirements, creating and delivering sales collateral and presentations, defining product messaging and positioning, and evangelizing our solutions to customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Write material to support our sales and promotional efforts, including for white papers, data sheets, web site and press releases
  • Create and deliver presentations to prospects, partners, webinars and at conferences
  • Support sales efforts with competitive and market analysis and positioning
  • Define product positioning and messaging
  • Plan for and execute product launches

Requirements

Must have:
  • Technical background and ability to understand complex technology and articulate its value to business users
  • At least 7 years of product marketing experience in an enterprise software company

Solutions Architect - Partner

Role

This is an exciting innovative initiative to design, build, market, and sell next generation Situational Intelligence Solutions/Offerings with our System Integration and Technology partners. STI is looking for senior Analytics and BigData experienced technical Solution Architect who has designed business & Industry solutions with Analytics, Visualization, and Data technologies. Strong consultancy skills are a must for this position along with the ability to develop repeatable innovative use cases, demonstrations, customer value proposition, and provide high level technical support and training to our partners.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Development with responsibility for Market Development and Channels. The Solution Architect's primary role is positioning and delivering integrated end-to-end Situational Intelligence based solutions utilizing STI's approved architectures, applications, and technology portfolio with select partners. This position will help develop joint use and business cases, define and integrate solution architecture, serve as content knowledge expert, participate in proposal preparation, provide technical support, align capabilities and roadmaps in collaboration with product management team, mentor other technical consultants, train partner solution architects on STI products and technologies, and develop technical collateral/demonstrations around integrated designs/solutions. Since this is a high profile position working with STI's key partners and customers travel will be required.

The Solution Architect will:

  • Be responsible for technical decisions that will affect project timelines, functional unit and/or deadlines
  • Be viewed as a technical resource by peers, partners, and customers and will take ownership of their objectives to achieve business results

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise with design of analytics applications, industry wide understanding of Analytics and "BigData" solutions for Asset intensive industries (Utilities, Oil&Gas, Transportation, etc). In addition, experience with developing use and business case, ROI models, process/service consulting knowledge and experience, and understanding of physical infrastructure requirements in asset intensive industries a significant plus. Strong communications, consulting and presentation skills are a requirement for this position as customer/partner presentations and demonstration of services and solutions will need to be delivered on frequent basis.

Candidates must have at least five to ten years of increasing responsibility for defining, positioning and delivering Analytics Solutions/Architecture. The person needs to have a track record of successful executive interaction, consultative selling and leading the delivery of successful consulting engagements in this area. A Bachelors degree (BA/BS) is essential with an advanced degree highly desirable.

Typically requires BSEE/CS or equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience in relevant technology and industries.

Solutions Architect / Delivery Manager - Consulting

Role

We are currently seeking a Solution Architect / Delivery Manager to join our consulting team. The Solution Architect / Delivery Manager individual will lead conceptualization of the detailed solution and project manage the professional services to deliver the solution to our clients. This individual will also work with systems integration partners to represent Space-Time Insight on partner led teams.  This resource will also perform a key role in pursuing and winning large deals. The ideal candidate will have broad business and technology expertise coupled with a background in professional services and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of business analysts and developers to implement an effective solution with Space-Time Insight's product suite
  • Lead projects to achieve on-time, on-budget, and on-quality goals in an Agile project environment
  • Serve as a principal client advocate and liaison 
  • Develop deployment integration architecture and execution plan
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and lead software demonstrations to clients
  • Assist in providing ideas for product enhancements based on client feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience with some combination of solution architecture and project management
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience leading teams of 3-10 personnel
  • Background in professional services consulting for software or systems integration firms

Sr. Developer / Engineer

Role

We are currently seeking for a results-oriented Sr. Developer/Engineer who demonstrates excellent problem solving and communication skills. The candidate must be a self-starter, but also a strong team player, with an experience base of at least 6+ years in increasingly challenging assignments. Background should include design and development experience in high-traffic, high-visibility, high-quality, highly-scalable, highly-secure, high-transaction volume, and/or high-availability environments. Past experience in our specific solution domains will be a big plus.The individual will be responsible for programming our software products to implement new features and support current applications. This position offers great growth potential.Experience / Knowledge in areas of Business Intelligence, Web services, Oracle, SAP, IBM technology stacks is a plus.Job requires travel during customer deployments of the product.

Job Duties

Ability to integrate Tibco EMS, SAP HANA with the application to create visual analytics Evaluate business functional requirements, handling Customer relationships issues and studying software development process using analytical tools. Ability to write complex queries using databases MYSQL, Oracle and SQL Server. Creating complex queries, reports and extracts from relational databases, data marts, and cubes per client request; and develop calculation and presentation of data and measures to support decisions; Using modeling skills to prepare and present requirement information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language; Preparing documentations and reports, including use cases, process flow diagrams, task flow diagrams, business requirements, functional requirements, test plan, user documentation, and/or project plans; Assisting with cost recovery, margin optimization, and process enhancement by identifying existing problems and rapidly identifying workable solutions; Supporting the application and incorporate user feedback into planning for the next release; Managing the day-to-day Production Support and Enhancements requests; Coordination with team and clients for requirement clarifications and timely delivery of the work products.
